ROUTES
6km Fun Run

Starting from the grounds of the Dutch Reformed Church runners will be directed towards Malvern Drive and then with a lekker slap draai right, head towards our beautiful coastline on Marine Drive - where will you get a better view?!
Now turning right again, we race, we jog, we walk, we crawl....we do whatever we want coz it's holiday as long as we progress towards L'Agulhas. Watching out for another right turn that will take us into an ally, we move up an embankment between 2 houses into Ocean View Drive.
Now a lekker slap left turn will bring us to the first waterpoint at kilometer 3....gee whizz boy, do we need this! Time to take in some fluids and watch the view and talk nonsense to newly made friends..and off we are again for the last stretch to the finish.
Just follow all the signs...NO PROBLEMO SENOR! This is really a very very easy route and will hardly make you sweat, that is if you have followed the GREEN signs all the way - if not, don't despair, you will still find your way home in 2019! Ideal
for the family and the walkers amongst us - ENJOY!!
Water point: 3km
10 km Trail Run

Same start as the 6 Km but.....and be wake-up now, we carry on all the way to the bottom of the scenic drive up Hangness Street. Ok, here we have an Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie type of problem...thee small matter again of going up the hill....not ideal if you are a gradient opposed type of fella. But, do not despair...it's a small matter Senor!
After roughly about a kilometer, maybe, just maybe 10 minutes, you're at the top....how about that...easy as pie! Here you will be welcomed by the lovely crew of our first waterpoint at kilometer 5 which will turn you around to have a look at the sea, offer you some water and other delicious treats!
This is also the point where the route split for the 10km and 15km so make sure you're on the correct path...as in life, straying off the straight and narrow can bite you in the back later on...beware! Now you will be in for some beautiful views as you traverse a lovely footpath back towards the finish.
You are welcome to have another stop at kilometer 6,7 - the water table for the 6 Km participants....maybe they still have something for you! Following the snaking trail around fynbos and eventually back into the suburban areas be on the lookout for BLUE signs to take you all the way home - ENJOY!!
Water points: 5km & 6.7km
15 km Trail Run

Same start as the 10 Km. At kilometer 5, also the point of the first water table make sure to carry on on the correct route as this is where the routes split for the 10km and 15 km.
Being on top of the little koppie behind the lovely L'Agulhas, it is now the time to open up those extra cylinders and fire the back burners into action - this is some lovely running terrain...I'm sure you will be flying here! Very soon you will hit the 2nd water table at kilometer 10....and then all the way home for the final 5 km.
You will meet up with the 10km and 6 km, dare I say racers, towards the latter part of your run. Please treat them with politeness and empathy...it's never nice to be passed by a longer distance participant and we don't want to scar them for life...Just follow the RED signs and very soon your 5yr old boy or daughter or mommy will be very proud to see handsome Daddy cross the finish line! Ok, ok,... Daddy will also be proud to see his love crossing the finish line in style!! ENJOY!!
Water points: 5km & 10km
